Cafeteria First Date

"Julien?"
The guy's eyes shot up. "Yeah."
"These are from Morgan."
"Oh. Yeah. Thanks."
"You're welcome." Janie placed the papers in a neat pile on his desk and the flash drive on top.
Janie turned around but as soon as she took one step, Julien called her. "Wait!"
"Yeah?"
"You work with Morgan or something?"
"Yup." Janie nodded.
"Okay."
"Alright."
Janie went back to the elevator and went up to her floor. She nodded at the IT's receptionist. "Why are all the receptionist and secretaries here all so pretty?" She thought to herself. "Actually everyone here is exceptionally pretty and handsome. And then there's the IT department with an exclusion of Mark."
"He's cute, right?"
"What?"
"Julien. I made you go up there to meet him. He's a good friend of mine."
"Are you trying to set me up?"
"No." Morgan had a mischievous look in her eyes.
"He spoke in one word sentences."
"Yeah, he tends to do that when he's working."
Janie just walked to her desk without any other opinions.

"Time for lunch!" Morgan exclaimed. Janie and Morgan planned on getting the cafeteria food downstairs that day. They both got on the elevator to go to the ground floor. There everyone was hustling around with trays in hand. The food was good and not like your average school cafeteria. Janie and Morgan grabbed their trays and walked down the line for the entree and then spread out to get dessert and drinks. They both found an empty booth and sat there to eat their lunch. They both dug in.
"Julien! Over here!"
Julien walked over holding his tray with one hand. He sat down next to Morgan.
"So you two have met but have not been formally introduced to each other. This is Jane, but everyone calls her Janie. Give her an edge since she's so plain jane. And this is Julien King."

Julien put his hand out to shake Janie's. She complied and they both shook hands and exchanged hi's. Morgan did most of the talking to ease the awkwardness between Janie and Julien. Julien kept stealing glances at Janie while he was looking at Morgan. The three of them finally grabbed their trays to empty the trash. Julien grabbed the two lady's trays and they all walked to the trash. That's when Jane noticed the security guard getting food.
"Hey, it's you again."
"Hi."
"Didn't know guards ate down here."
"Well, now you know. And this is protocol." He pointed to his sunglasses.
"Must be horrible to see dim lighting the whole time in buildings."
"Yeah. Pretty much. Name's Hunter."
"Janie." She put her hand out to shake his. His hand was trembling when they shook. "Oh, you okay?"
"Yeah. Fine. Well I'm gonna go pay now."
"Oh, yeah. I got to go too."
Janie turned back to Morgan and Julien.
"Who was that?" Morgan asked.
"Logan's security guard. I dropped the papers you gave me and he helped me pick them up."
"Oh. He's pretty cute too but..." Morgan nodded towards Julien. "Actually he has the same build as Julien. You guys go to the same gym or something?" Morgan asked jokingly.
"Yeah, I see him sometimes actually."
"Damn, all the hot guys go to that gym or something?" Morgan asked.
"I wouldn't know. I guess they would look attractive to a woman's point of view."
Morgan and Julien were immersed into their gym talk and Janie walked quietly behind them. She looked down at her hands and was thinking about why Hunter was so shaky when they shook hands.
Just then an arm grabbed hers. She looked up to see Logan.
