The First Event

Janie went back to Logan's house the next day to sign the papers and get ready for the event. There was a stylist in Logan's house ready for their dispense. She did Janie's makeup and hair. Another stylist fitted Janie into a long flowy lavender dress. Her hair was an intricate updo and the makeup was similar to her everyday look but more enhanced. Hunter knocked and came in. "How are you ladies doing?" The two stylists looked at Hunter. "She looks beautiful."
"Well, thanks for working your magic, Jackie and Evan."
Janie turned around. Hunter was in awe. He looked at her from top to bottom. "You look amazing. More than beautiful. You'll definitely top those other girls there."
"Duh! She got treatment from us." Evan added.
Logan is waiting in the car. You can come down now. Hunter put his hand out to Janie and walked her down the stairs.
"I may have made the biggest mistake of my life."
"It hasn't started yet." Hunter smiled.
Janie had to take careful steps as to not trip on her dress with her high heels. Hunter opened the door and Logan was texting someone on his phone. Janie elegantly slipped into the car and Hunter took off. They arrived at the venue. There were cameras flashing as if these business people were celebrities. The car door opened and Logan finally looked up from his phone. "Okay, it's our time to shine." He came out and waited for Janie. He held her hand and the two of them walked down the aisle to the backdrop to have their pictures taken. They stood there for a few minutes and walked inside. "My mouth hurts from smiling so much."
"Must be your first time smiling that's why."
"He still has to be a dick." Janie frowned.

Logan went on stage to talk and came back down. The last half of the event he was gone. It was time for the date auctioning. All the girls went to front. Only Janie stayed in her seat. Some guy pulled Janie to the stage too. There were 30 girls total. All in their twenties. Janie was about to escape but the staff herded all the girls on stage.
